Mock Draft - 10 Day Sprint

Two words make mocking this year's draft unlike any other year. Those two words, Geno Smith.

Smith is the leader of the 2013 QB Class, but it's a race that would have been lapped had Andrew Luck or RG III stayed one more year in school and come out this year. It's possible Ryan Tannehill would be the lock as the top QB had he not gone to Miami in the first round last year.

Smith could go to Jacksonville at #2, but that would seem to be a reach. He could land with the Raiders, Browns, Cardinals, Bill, or Jets, all in the top 10, but no one in standing on the table in any of those draft rooms willing to put his or her job on the line in exchange for drafting Smith. If you go further down the line you start to get to teams who have well established QBs, thus have no need or desire to pick a QB in the first round.

Which leads me to what I believe will happen, perhaps a trade back by one of the teams in the Top 10 (most likely the Browns) to grab Smith, but more then likely Smith will experience a draft day slide the likes of Aaron Rodgers and we'll see a team picking early in the 2nd jump back into the end of the 1st round and grab him.
